Dope! Mick Boogie x Adele 1988 Mixtape

if you're not familiar with Mick Boogie, you need to be! He is becoming one of the most influential and inspiring mixtape DJs of our current time. Google Mick and check out as many of his projects as you can. Here's one of the highlights of the past year for me:

Mick Boogie and friends present to you their latest masterpiece, Adele: 1988.

Fresh off the success of the internationally-acclaimed Viva La Hova, the MB team have reunited to introduce rock star Adele (nominated for 4 Grammy awards) to a whole new audience.

Adele's album 19 set trends and created influence in the pop, rock and international worlds. But what would happen if the vocals and instruments of 19 were combined with the hip-hop sensibilities of the late 1980s, considered by many hip-hop's golden age?

The result is the new release from Mick Boogie... Adele: 1988.

More than a mashup, it's a complete reinterpretation of Adele's album as only Mick Boogie and friends can do.

Volvo S60 Concept @ Detroit Auto Show

Volvo explores a four-door fastback design for its S60. This car uses unique LED headlights from supplier Valeo that are supposed to evoke Viking longboats. Volvo envisions the car using a turbocharged 1.6-liter direct injection engine, which would be fine for Europe, but the car would need extra oomph for the U.S. market.

Look @ how the back door opens!

Fisker Karma Hybrid

Fisker Automotive will lift the sheet on the production version of the super-luxe Karma plug-in hybrid, a car the company plans to start putting in driveways by the end of the year. The $87,000 sedan will appear alongside a convertible concept model. Photo / Fisker Automotive.

I'd like to see what the front end of this looks like. From this angle it looks dope.

classic dope headphones by koss

This is the set of headphones I rock all day @ work. I suggest you look em up and invest.

Koss PortaPro Stereophone

First introduced in 1984, this high quality portable stereophone set performance and comfort standards for personal listening worldwide. Over the years, much to the delight of devout Porta Pro enthusiasts, we've preserved the original design and performance that made the Porta Pro a portable music icon. Today the Porta Pro remains the headphone of choice for the discriminating listener. Designed for those with refined musical acuity, the Porta Pro continues to be the most requested headphone at koss.com.

The Porta Pro features dynamic elements that deliver exceptionally rich, deep bass and a remarkably wide frequency response from 15-25,000 Hz to capture every nuance in your favorite movie or musical performance. Constructed from mylar, the elements are extremely rigid, minimizing mechanical distortion and ensuring exceedingly accurate sound reproduction. Neodymium iron boron rare earth magnet structures enable the Porta Pro to deliver greater volume so you can hear every note, even when competing against the sounds of a commuter train with a low-voltage MP3 or disc player. Oxygen free copper voice coils improve signal transmission and conduction for cleaner, clearer sound. Foam earcushions provide an open, hear-through sound that lets you keep in touch with your surroundings perfect to wear while running, at work, or while traveling.

Whether you're listening at home or on the go, the Porta Pro will bring the excitement of a live performance to any recording.

The PortaPro by Koss is covered by Koss' No*Questions*Asked Lifetime Warranty.
